... The Federal Government signed two long-term leases totaling 34,250 square feet at 15109 Heathrow Forest Parkway in Houston's Interwood Business Park. The General Services Administration (GSA) leased 22,459 square feet to house the Minerals Management Service. Brian Weiss and Don Foster of Jones Lang LaSalle Americas represented the tenant. The Department of Homeland Security took 12,041 square feet. Efrem Colmenero with Studley represented the tenant. Paul Wittorf of Transwestern represented the landlord, Urban Group LLC, in both transactions. ...

... The U.S. Department of Justice will relocate its U.S. Parole Commission agency from Bethesda, MD, to Sentinel Square at 90 K St. NE in Washington, DC. The agency signed a 36,438-square-foot deal with a scheduled early 2011 move-in date. Sentinel Square is a 412,661-square-foot office building that delivered in April. The property is now nearly 30 percent leased as this deal follows an 85,000-square-foot commitment, also by the General Services Administration, on behalf of U.S. Customs and Protection. Joel Bereleson and Sean McNeal of the GSA along with Neil Levy and Julie Rayfield of Studley represented DOJ. Thomas Finan of Trammell Crow Co. represented the landlord in-house.
