Patrick Breslin has joined international commercial real estate services firm Studley as executive vice president, East Coast Retail Services, announced President Michael Colacino. Pat will play a key role in the expansion of Studley’s retail business along the Eastern Seaboard. He will be based in the firm’s New York office.
“Pat’s arrival is a signal of our continued commitment to bolstering the firm’s service offerings in the retail arena,” said Mr. Colacino. “His vast expertise will be a tremendous asset to the firm as we seek to ensure that Studley maintains its position at the top of the field.”
Mr. Breslin joins Studley from Grubb & Ellis where he served as President, U.S. Retail Division. Prior to that he was with CBRE, where he consistently ranked among the top producers nationwide. At CBRE, Pat oversaw AT&T Wireless’ expansion in the Northeast, taking the number of stores from 40 to 266 before heading up the national rollout, which added another 1,500 stores in three and a half years.
In addition, Mr. Breslin demonstrated his quick deal-making skills and proved the importance of solid business relationships when, shortly after CNN lost its broadcast antennas in the September 11th attacks on the World Trade Center, he arranged a new lease for the cable news channel at 1 Chase Plaza. The entire transaction, from negotiations to execution, took 72 hours.
During his 25-year career, Mr. Breslin has completed more than 2,000 transactions totaling 8.5 million square feet and valued in excess of $5 billion. Clients include JP Morgan Chase, Verizon, Talbot’s, Barnes & Noble and Donna Karan.
