To diversify its palate beyond a bevy of luxury retailers, Brookfield Office Properties has added the Institute of Culinary Education to Brookfield Place in Lower Manhattan.

The school will relocate from 50 West 23rd Street to 225 Liberty Street next year, taking 71,000 square feet on the second and third floors, Real Estate Weekly reported. It will exist next to the new Equinox fitness center, another product of the ongoing $250 million renovation and rebranding of the complex formerly known as the World Financial Center.

Studley brokers Jarod Stern and David Goldstein represented the Institute of Culinary Education, while David Cheikin represented Brookfield in-house, Real Estate Weekly said.
