World renown infertility medical practice, Reproductive Medicine Associates (RMA), has signed a long-term lease renewal for its 25,779 square feet of space comprising 2 ½ floors at 635 Madison Avenue.
RMA’s midtown facility houses its offices, medical suites, IVF surgical procedure rooms and embryology laboratories all under one roof. The center is well recognized for its success in performing advanced reproductive techniques including egg freezing and embryo freezing. RMA also has satellite offices in Brooklyn, Westchester, and Long Island for added patient convenience.
Daniel O. Horowitz, Executive Vice President, and Jeffrey I. Peck, Senior Managing Director of international commercial real estate services firm Studley, represented RMA in the long-term lease renewal. The building’s owner, Ashkenazy Acquisition Corp., was represented in-house by Andrew Wexler.
The Studley team of Daniel Horowitz, Jeffrey Peck, and Christopher Foerch brokered the lease for RMA’s first Brooklyn office in 2011.
“As far as RMA’s Manhattan practice, 635 Madison Avenue offered the perfect balance of location, prestige, and quality of ownership,” Horowitz said. “Patients know the location, and the tenant saw a tremendous benefit of staying in the space given the tremendous institutional history.”
Asking rent for office space at 635 Madison Avenue is in the $90-100 range.
“We’re delighted that 635 Madison will continue to serve as RMA’s Manhattan home, which has been headquartered here since 2001,” Peck said. “RMA of New York delivers the best in compassionate patient care, and having a great Midtown location is part of that entire experience.”
