The convention, which took place in Las Vegas October 21 - 23, provided industry professionals fast-paced, interactive, small group learning opportunities. As a sponsor of four previous summit conventions, Studley was proud to partner with CORENet once again for this informational event.
Studley hosted a breakout session entitled, “Real Estate Decisions as a Catalyst for Enterprise-Wide Change.” Studley Managing Director, Christelle Bron participated alongside Executive Vice President & Director, Matt Barlow, as guest speakers for the session. This discussion will focus on the experiences of Time Warner which recently completed a 4M+ square foot New York strategic study managed by Studley. “It is as important for real estate professional to understand a business planning cycle as a real estate cycle,” Bron said, citing the need for real estate professionals to work cross-functionally as the inspiration for the panel topic. “Commercial real estate requires a strategic vision,” added Barlow.
As part of the convention experience, attendees were encouraged to visit the exhibitor booths and learn more about emerging trends for 2014. In an effort to highlight the vast array of industry knowledge available through Studley’s research and analytics, Studley’s booth, staffed by members of Studley’s Strategic Portfolio Solutions team, tested participants’ real estate knowledge. The grand prize winner received a Macbook Air.
