Michael J. Weiss Joins Studley's South Florida Office
Studley Veteran Transfers from Central New Jersey Office

International commercial real estate services firm Studley announced today that Managing Director Michael J. Weiss, a commercial real estate veteran from Studley's Central New Jersey office, has transferred to its South Florida office in Miami.

Since joining Studley in 2001, Mr. Weiss has developed a tenant representation practice encompassing both the office and industrial property sectors. He provides his clients with a full spectrum of services that include portfolio evaluation, litigation support, consulting, sustainable development, as well as acquisition and disposition of office, industrial, retail and investment assets. One of the primary goals of his move to Florida is to bolster the firm's industrial client base in the Florida market.

Since beginning his real estate career in 1982, Mr. Weiss has negotiated more than 11 million square feet of notable transactions for such clients as Sherwin Williams, Parker Laboratories, and Cort Furniture. A New Jersey native, he has served as an adjunct professor of real estate at New York University and Baruch College in New York City for the last 10 years.

Mr. Weiss received a bachelor's degree in economics from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a master's degree in real estate development and investment from New York University's Real Estate Institute. He is a member of the Counselors of Real Estate and a recipient of the distinguished CRE and Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designations.
