International commercial real estate services firm Studley is pleased to announce that Monty Harris has joined its Suburban Washington, DC office as a corporate managing director.
Mr. Harris re-joins Studley from the Atlanta office of Newmark Knight Frank, where he spent more than 10 years as a senior managing director. While at Newmark, Mr. Harris was consistently recognized as a CoStar Power Broker and his team won office deal of the year in several markets including Atlanta and Miami. He advised a wide range of corporations and professional services firms throughout the United States and was twice recognized as the Atlanta office’s top producer.
Mr. Harris, who first came to Studley in 1997, cites the firm’s rapidly expanding corporate services platform as one of the key factors in his decision to return. In his new role, he will continue to focus on representing the multi-market commercial real estate needs of corporations, law firms and associations throughout the Washington, DC metropolitan region and nationally.
To date, Mr. Harris has completed more than 7 million square feet of transactions nationwide on behalf of commercial tenants. His roster of clients has included Goldman Sachs, Lend Lease, HCA, Morgan Stanley, CH2M HILL, Accenture, Spanx Bank One/Paymentech and law firms such as Troutman Sanders, Rogers & Hardin, , Smith Currie, Nelson Mullins and Womble Carlyle.
Mr. Harris graduated from the University of Virginia in 1996 with honors.
