April 17, 2015

Anti-teen-smoking advocacy organization American Legacy Foundation (ALF) signed an 11-year lease for 33,162 square feet with MRP Realty and ASB Real Estate Investments at 900 G St. NW in Washington, DC.

ALF will occupy the entire fourth and fifth floors, as well as a portion of the third floor of the building. ALF is slated to take occupancy in September 2015.

ALF’s commitment brings the newly completed 900 G St. to 76% leased, said Jim Darcey, ASB’s managing director for capital markets.

Earlier this year, MRP signed international law firm Simpson Thacher and high-end furniture retailer Herman Miller to multi-year leases at the building.

Jon Glass and Paul Hanafin of Savills Studley represented ALF; and Phillip Thomas, Kerri Mulligan of DTZ and Will Stern of Avison Young represented MRP Realty and ASB Real Estate Investments.
