Savills Studley, the leading global commercial real estate services firm, is pleased to announce a pair of new promotions for the firm’s Houston office. Announced during the annual Winter Trip, an incentive trip combined with a planning meeting of the firm’s top producing brokers, Savills Studley recognized the accomplishments of its outstanding performers over the past year by promoting Drew Morris to Senior Managing Director and Jim Bell to Managing Director.
Morris has nearly 20 years of broad-based real estate experience and specializes in the strategic management of real estate portfolios with a particular focus on leases, purchases, sales, dispositions, build-to-suits, and headquarters assignments. Throughout his career, Morris has completed over 500 transactions in Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, and 15 other cities totaling over 10 million square feet.
Morris was one of the original five brokers in the re-launch of Savills Studley’s Houston office in 2003 and has helped quadruple the team to become one of the top five producing offices in the firm nationwide. He is consistently one of the firm’s top brokers and has received accolades such as NAIOP’s Rising Star Award and CoStar’s Power Broker designation. “I am fortunate to work with a thriving company surrounded by a dedicated group of brokers and inspiring leadership,” said Morris. “My recent promotion serves as motivation to build on my solid foundation and expand the value I bring to the firm moving forward.”
With over 10 years of experience in tenant representation, Bell specializes in office lease acquisitions, lease dispositions, and lease restructurings. His transaction expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence create bottom line savings and risk-adverse real estate solutions that ultimately benefit his clients.
In 2014, Bell experienced his best year yet and was recognized as one of the firm’s top brokers. “I am privileged to work with an outstanding team that provides clients with incredible service through Savills Studley’s top-notch tenant-focused platform,” said Bell. “I look forward to continuing to build off our firm’s momentum to help clients manage occupancy costs and create better workplaces for their employees.”
Mark O’Donnell, Executive Vice President and Co-Branch Manager of Savills Studley’s Houston office added, “These promotions are well earned and we are proud to recognize their hard work and contributions. Drew and Jim have been instrumental in the continued success of the firm and have helped Savills Studley navigate an increasingly complex environment while consistently exceeding our clients’ expectations.”
