The U.S. General Services Administration inked a 10-year, 285,434-square-foot lease at 425 Eye Street N.W. in Washington, D.C. for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

The deal is the largest office lease in the District so far this year, according to CoStar information. ...

... Darian LeBlanc, Laurie McMahon, Bobby Schwartz, Scott Killie, Allison Berry and Jonathan Wellborn with Cassidy Turley represented Paramount in the lease. Neil Levy, Julie Rayfield and Mett Miller with Studley represented the tenant, along with James Phelan of the GSA.

"425 Eye Street was the most logical choice as the VA’s newest facility," said LeBlanc. "The building’s 55,000-square-foot floorplates are ideal for large tenants such as the VA. And when combined with this impressive redevelopment and abundant amenities, 425 Eye Street is a remarkable new home for the VA and its employees."
