One North Interactive, which designs websites for law firms and other clients, is leaving its namesake Loop office building for riverfront space that will provide room for as many as 55 new employees.
The firm said it will move in June to more than 17,000 square feet at 222 N. LaSalle St., a vintage building overlooking the Chicago River...
The 26-story, 996,000-square-foot building at LaSalle and Wacker Drive is the latest to benefit from technology tenants' interest in older buildings with wide floors and unique features, said Lisa Davidson, an executive managing director at Savills Studley who represented One North in the lease along with Senior Managing Director Tiffany Winne.
Ownership provided a “turnkey” office, in which One North chose the layout and furniture and the landlord agreed to build it out, Davidson said.
“We actually had a lot of options to choose from,” Davidson said. “What's happening in the market is, a lot of older, more traditional buildings in the Loop are spending millions of dollars to attract technology companies and other companies that are looking to hire young workers...”Website design firm plans to hire 55 people, move offices
