International commercial real estate services firm Studley is pleased to announce Samantha Gentile and Lisa Gainsley have joined the firm’s Midtown Manhattan office as financial analysts and John Harte has joined as an associate.
Ms. Gentile (22), a former intern at Studley, joined the firm immediately upon graduating from Fairfield University to work with Studley’s New York Consulting Group, a team which consults on some of the firm’s largest transactions. Ms. Gentile focuses on delivering services such as fair market value (FMV) lease arbitration, strategic planning, lease negotiations, as well as demographic and financial analyses.
In addition to her internship at Studley, Ms. Gentile held numerous internships with financial institutions including The Bank of NY Mellon and Merrill Lynch. Ms. Gentile graduated from Fairfield University with a Bachelor of Science degree in finance, with a concentration in physics.
Ms. Gainsley (24) has joined Studley’s Capital Transactions Group, led by industry-veteran Woody Heller, as a financial analyst. She is primarily responsible for the underwriting, analysis, and due diligence work for the team’s assignments and is also involved in marketing those assignments.
Prior to joining Studley, Ms. Gainsley worked as a financial analyst for Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., in the Global Commercial Real Estate Group, where she focused on the origination, syndication and securitization of real estate and corporate debt. In 2007, she spent a summer in Tokyo, Japan, working as an analyst for Panorama Hospitality, a subsidiary of Morgan Stanley, assisting in the asset management of hotels located throughout Japan. Ms. Gainsley also worked as an analyst for Milestone Advisors LLC, a Washington, DC-based boutique investment bank focused on M&A advisory in the financial services sector.
Ms. Gainsley graduated from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business with a Bachelor of Science in finance with minors in economics and Japanese. She also spent her junior year abroad in Tokyo, Japan at Sophia University.
Mr. Harte (32) joined Studley after eight years with Fergus Partnership Consulting. He focuses on new business development, strategic and financial planning and client relations.
Mr. Harte graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelor of Arts in history from The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC and received his master’s degree in real estate from New York University’s Schack Institute of Real Estate with a concentration in development and investment.
