Jim Tyler has joined Studley as a managing director in the firm’s Denver Tech Center (DTC) office announced Executive Vice President and Branch Manager Jim McGrath. The 23-year veteran will continue to represent commercial space users throughout the metro area while also assisting McGrath with the growth and development of the firm’s DTC office which opened earlier this year.

“Jim is a fixture in the Denver real estate community and I am thrilled he has joined our team,” said McGrath. “His extensive industry experience will undoubtedly enhance our ability to service the needs of our current and future clients.”

Prior to joining Studley, Tyler was a senior vice president with Cassidy Turley where he was the lead business developer on the firm’s senior-most tenant representation team in Denver. Before that he served as a senior business development manager with The Weitz Company, a full service general construction, design builder and construction management firm. While there, Tyler was instrumental in increasing revenue for the “Special Projects” division from $10 to $42 million annually.

During his career, Tyler has completed more than 375 transactions totaling more than four million square feet of space on behalf of a numerous Fortune 1000 companies.

“Helping tenants reduce their operating expenses, maximize efficiency and increase flexibility, while simultaneously remaining competitive in the industry, is my ultimate goal,” said Tyler. “I’m confident I can accomplish all of these things and more at Studley.”

Tyler is a member of the Design and Construction Network of Denver and the Western Energy Alliance. He graduated from Metropolitan State College of Denver with a degree in real estate management.
