Southwest D.C. Has Lowest Office Availability

First-quarter numbers are beginning to trickle out of local research offices and Studley's early reports brought an interesting tidbit to light

Remember all that time I've spent obsessing over the comings and goings in Southwest D.C. — what with the Securities and Exchange Commission leasing and giving back space, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and the Federal Housing Finance Agency saving the day, and NASA opting to stay put?

Well, it turns out that all of those decisions resulted in Southwest having the least amount of Class A space available at the end of the first quarter than any other D.C. submarket, according to Studley.....
