Global commercial real estate services firm Savills Studley is pleased to announce that it raised over $100,000 for Boys Hope Girls Hope of Chicago earlier this week at the 9th Annual Landlord Challenge Golf Tournament. The event took place at the Northmoor Country Club and was hosted by Savills Studley Executive Vice President and co-branch manager, John Goodman.
“Overall, it was a perfect day of golf and philanthropy,” remarks Goodman. This year’s event chair and Managing Director at Savills Studley, Chris Tarzon adds, “The weather was ideal and we couldn’t be prouder to present such a substantial donation to such a worthy cause. The funds raised will provide critical support to both residential and collegian scholars who are part of the Boys Hope Girls Hope Scholarship program.” Tarzon, who is on the organization’s board, presented the check to Peter Beale-Delecchio, executive director of charity.
Nearly 100 golfers participated in the challenge, consisting of property owners and leasing teams from Chicago and around the Midwest. Tier Reit won first place and Newmark Grubb/Reit Management came in second place, both receiving trophies. The main sponsors were Savills Studley, Piedmont, Torburn, The John Buck Company, Reit Management and John Hancock.
