The Colorado Tower under construction downtown now is 95 percent leased with several previously signed tenants contracting for additional space before prior to moving in.
Parsley Energy Inc. nearly doubled its originally lease, securing 135,107 square feet, and Australia-based Atlassian Software Systems Pty Ltd. added 48,346 square feet for a total of 72,530 square feet.
“The successful development and lease up of Colorado Tower represents and important milestone for Cousins,” said Larry Gellerstedt, president and CEO of Cousins Properties Inc., in a statement. The company is based in Atlanta.
Locally, veteran developer and Cousins senior executive Tim Hendricks is overseeing the project.
Other tenants, which have signed contracts in the 30-story tower that will deliver new office space starting in December, include IPSoft Inc. Kelly Hart & Hallman LLP and Invesco Management Group Inc.
In July, construction crews celebrated the topping out of the 30-story, 373,000-square foot building with a barbecue for more than 300 people.
In all of the deals, Rachel Coulter and Kevin Kimbrough with Oxford Commercial/Cushman & Wakefield represented Cousins. Here are other specifics of each lease:
