The Lake Forest Graduate School of Management is more than tripling the size of its Schaumburg location in a move to a building two miles south of its longtime site.

The private, non-profit school signed an 11-year lease for 14,000 square feet at 1300 E. Woodfield Road, where it plans to open late this year. The new location in a seven-story building near Meacham Road has a higher profile that Lake Forest's current location at 1295 E. Algonquin Road on the Motorola Inc. campus. The school currently has 4,000 square feet under a lease that expires at year-end, a spokeswoman says.

As part of the new lease, Lake Forest will have a big sign at the top of 1300 E. Woodfield, replacing the sign for Texas Instruments Inc., which remains a tenant. ...

... Lake Forest will have most of the sixth floor at the building, which was acquired last year by a venture that includes Crossroads Development Partners and Cataldo Family Enterprises. ...

... Studley Inc. represented the school. CB Richard Ellis Inc. represented the building.
