Midtown South Tech Tenant Changes Submarkets

A new technology tenant, which had been based in Midtown South, has signed on at Equity Office’s 5 Bryant Park property in Midtown.

Movable Ink has agreed to a 10-year lease to occupy 54,782 square feet of pre-built space, occupying the entire eighth and ninth floors. The company will relocate its corporate headquarters from its current Flatiron location at 636 Ave. of the Americas this coming November.

Brian Waterman, Brent Ozarowski, Josh Gosin and Alex Radmin of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank represented the ownership in the leasing of this transaction. Scott Silverstein, Equity Office leasing manager, and Zachary Freeman, Equity Office VP of leasing, represented Equity Office in-house. Erik Schmall and Mike Mathias of Savills Studley represented Movable Ink.
