Global commercial real estate services firm Studley announced today that Scott Hoffman has rejoined its Washington D.C. office as Executive Managing Director, where he will continue to provide real estate advisory and financial structuring to some of the country’s most prestigious law firms, corporations, not-for profit organizations and trade associations. Hoffman was at Studley for seven years prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield in 2007.
“We are thrilled that Scott has chosen to return to Studley. He has established himself as one of the D.C. area’s most respected brokerage professionals and his breadth of experience and tenant representation expertise is sure to be an asset to us once again,” said Executive Vice President, Director, and Co-Regional Manager David Lipson. “We are all family here and are pleased to welcome back one of our own.”
Throughout his career, Hoffman has maintained an exclusive focus on representing tenants’ best interests, assisting them with strategic planning, developing beneficial financial structures, benchmarking studies, transaction execution for both acquisitions and dispositions, and portfolio management throughout the Washington, D.C. region and the nation. He has been directly involved in the representation of tenants in excess of 10 million square feet and over $3.5 billion in aggregate lease value.
Hoffman points to Studley’s focused and dedicated tenant only model as a key driver in his decision to return. “Studley is uniquely entrepreneurial, with the best resources, support and intellectual capital to solve complex issues,” shared Hoffman. “I am excited to be back among some of the savviest individuals in the business.”
Nearly 10 percent of Studley’s senior-level brokers, from offices across the U.S., have returned to the firm after pursuing real estate careers elsewhere, including Executive Vice President and Co-Regional Manager Gary Stein, who returned to Studley’s D.C. office in 2012. Most cite the firm’s tenant focus, collaborative environment and entrepreneurial culture as reasons for returning.
Headquartered in New York City, Studley has two local offices in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Its D.C. regional offices have been voted the "Best Place to Work" by the Washington Business Journal and named one of the "Fastest Growing Firms in the Mid Atlantic" by the Mid Atlantic Real Estate Journal.
