Houston, TX (September 4, 2012)
Studley’s Houston office recently arranged a 52,148-square-foot lease on behalf of Houston-based IHI E&C International Corporation (IHI) at Eldridge Oaks, 1080 Eldridge Parkway. Studley Executive Vice President Mark O’Donnell represented IHI in the transaction.

IHI E&C International Corporation, an engineering and construction company serving the oil and gas processing, refining, chemical and petrochemical industries, and a member of the IHI Corporation group of Tokyo, will move from approximately 53,000 square feet at 3010 Briarpark when the lease commences in December. The move follows the company’s recent acquisition of Kvaerner Americas’ operations and related assets in Houston.

“This is a terrific move for IHI as they continue to expand their presence in the US,” said O’Donnell. “The location – in the heart of Houston’s Energy Corridor – provides direct access to a majority of the firm’s client base.”

Eldridge Oaks is a newly constructed, 350,000-square-foot Class A office tower located in Eldridge Park, a new, 21-acre development with a park-like setting and convenient access to Interstate 10, Westheimer Road and Memorial Drive.

Transwestern’s Eric Anderson, David Baker and Paul Wittorf represented the landlord, Cornerstone Real Estate Advisors.
