Carrizo Oil & Gas to Relocate to One Allen Center in December 2011
Houston, TX (August 5, 2011)
Carrizo Oil & Gas, Inc., a Houston-based energy company engaged in the exploration, development, exploitation and production of oil and natural gas primarily in the Eagle Ford Shale in South Texas, the Barnett Shale in North Texas, the Marcellus Shale in Appalachia, and the Niobrara Formation in Colorado, is relocating its Houston office from the Wells Fargo Plaza building to One Allen Center nearby.
The company signed a long-term lease to occupy 94,613 square feet, or approximately 3.5 floors of the 993,000-square-foot office building located at 500 Dallas Street in Houston’s Central Business District, which represents a nearly 50 percent increase in the company’s current Houston office space.
Executive Vice Presidents and Co-Branch Managers Mark O’Donnell and Derrell Curry of international commercial real estate services firm Studley represented the tenant in the transaction. The landlord, Brookfield Office Properties, was represented in-house by Paul Layne, Paul Frazier, Steve Lukingbeal and John Morton.
