Savills Studley Promotes Four in Los Angeles

Leading global tenant advisory firm Savills Studley is pleased to announce the promotion of four executives in its Los Angeles offices.

Corey Davidson has been named an Executive Managing Director. Davidson is a principal with the firm’s Corporate Services Group and is based in the West Los Angeles office. Previously, he was a Senior Managing Director. Davidson has been with the firm since 2001, and is responsible for developing and delivering strategic consulting and brokerage services that bridge corporate finance and commercial real estate for companies with facilities in markets around the world. He graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology.

Laura Whelan has been promoted to Corporate Managing Director from Managing Director. Whelan leads the Savills Studley Project Management Group in Los Angeles, and is involved in a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from high-end tenant improvements to urban redevelopment to mixed-use commercial properties. She graduated from The University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts in economics. Whelan has been with the firm since 2007.

Matt Abney, also a member of the Project Management Group in Downtown Los Angeles, has been named Director, Project Management. Abney is responsible for all aspects of strategic facility and building planning and focuses on commercial site selection, tenant relocation, hands-on budget oversight, and cost management. He received a Master of Public Policy degree from the University of Southern California and a bachelor’s degree from Azusa Pacific University.

Luke Troedson has been promoted to the position of Associate Director. Based in West Los Angeles, he focuses on advising tenants in the technology, entertainment and media sectors, providing a broad range of services including facility/portfolio evaluation, strategic planning, and financial modeling. He also represents professional service firms. Troedson graduated magna cum laude from the University of Southern California, with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and a minor in business administration.
