Archstone – a leader in apartment investment, development and operations – has restructured and extended its lease agreement for the company’s headquarters at 9200 East Panorama Circle in Englewood, Colo.
With the assistance of commercial real estate advisor Studley, Archstone restructured the lease for the 79,101-square-foot space two years prior to its expiration to include all of the third and fourth floors of the 139,860-square-foot, four-story building.
“Based on its commitment to the Englewood area and a number of other factors that are considered in lease extensions, it made perfect sense for Archstone to restructure its lease early and remain at its current location,” explained Studley Executive Vice President and Branch Manager Robert Link, who represented Archstone. “While we looked at a number of different space options in the area, nothing surpassed the location, economics and brand visibility of the Panorama building, which showcases the Archstone sign in a highly visible location.”
Proactively planning for the future, Studley and Archstone hired a space planner to redesign its space to increase productivity and create new synergies on both floors. The lease also includes a generous concession package.
The landlord, a partnership of Equity Office Properties, Blackstone and JP Morgan, was represented by Nathan Johnson of Fredrick Ross Company.
