Scottsdale’s DeskHub opening new collaborative co-working space in Portland

Scottsdale-based DeskHub has leased 18,000 square feet in Portland’s Pearl District for its fifth collaborative, entrepreneurial co-working center.

Portland’s Pearl District is an area of former warehouses that now houses art galleries, residences and creative businesses.

Ryan Bartos, a managing director for Savills Studley’s Phoenix office, helped Chemikoff find the Portland space and said they have also looked locations in Dallas. Bartos said DeskHub seeks more open floor plans than other co-working operators. He and Chemikoff said finding the right functional space in the right location is challenge for the co-working model.
