KMD Studley has been hired to market for lease a new industrial park in the works on San Antonio's East Side.
Known as the Gateway 10 Business Park, the project will span 107 acres of land along Interstate 10 East at Foster Road.
The project is situated in the next hub of the industrial market, said Harry Adams, real estate portfolio and asset manager for locally based McCombs Enterprises, which owns the site.
Proof that this is the next hot pocket is a large investment by value retailer Dollar General. The Goodlettsville, Tenn.-based firm has plans to develop a 900,000-sqauare-foot, $70 million, state-of-the-art facility on 111 acres of land along the northeast quadrant of Foster Road and FM 1346 — just south of IH-10, and thus, not too far from Gateway.
Dollar General was the “confirmation of a theory” about the prime placement of Gateway, Adams added.
“The project screamed industrial development from the beginning,” added Marshall V. Davidson, Jr., managing principal of KMD Studley. He points out that among the unique features of the site, it boasts over 5,000 feet of highway frontage.Panattoni, McCombs Properties and KMD Studley announce new Class A industrial park
