In a move signaling it plans to stay in South Florida over the long haul, Spirit Airlines announced Friday it had signed renewed and expanded the lease for its Miramar headquarters.
The low-cost carrier not only inked a decade-long lease at the Miramar Park of Commerce, it is taking an additional 14,625 square feet of office space in the complex, executives said...
Spirit was represented by agents of Studley Inc. in Miami, including senior managing director Chris Lovell.
"It's a terrific headquarters commitment to Broward County," said Lovell, whose team spent more than a year evaluating multiple cities and options for Spirit.
