In a surprise move, Morris, Manning & Martin announced late Wednesday that the firm will stay put at Atlanta Financial Center, its home for the past 25 years, instead of moving to the Campanile Building in Midtown.
...A real estate broker who specializes in law firms, Andrew P. Lechter, said it is unusual for a firm to change course after making a public announcement on a lease. "It must have been a dramatic change," he said.
"Either Dewberry changed their terms or Hines realized how difficult it would be to fill such a big hole. Or both," said Lechter, who is executive vice president for Studley.
