Savills Studley announces it has hired Assistant Director, Sean Phelan, who sits out of the firm’s Chicago’s office. Phelan will support Executive Vice Presidents, Joe Learner and Robert Sevim with new business development, strategic planning and execution of real estate solutions on behalf of tenants.
Sean began his career in finance at Unisource Worldwide, Inc. where he was in charge of the cross-border restructuring of its British Columbia, CAN operations. He later went on to represent start-ups at the Loyola Business Law Clinic, as well as work in the legal departments of both Stepan Co. and Intersport, Inc.
“As recruitment in the commercial real estate industry becomes more of a focus for us at Savills Studley in Chicago, we look for individuals with a competitive edge that can bring a diverse and unique skill set to our repertoire,” says Sevim, who as Co-Head of the Chicago office is actively searching for top talent in the market. “Sean’s background in law and corporate restructuring enable him to execute innovative transactions from a comprehensive and holistic approach. His knowledge and work ethic are certain to be seamless additions to our stellar and bustling team.”
Sean earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from the University of Iowa, and his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Loyola University Chicago, where he concentrated in real estate and corporate law.
