J. Mendel, the fifth-generation luxury brand, is recommitting to the Garment District for another 10 years.

The French heritage, New York-based fashion house has signed a long-term, 27,177 s/f lease renewal of its corporate headquarters at 463 Seventh Avenue.The space includes two full-scale ateliers dedicated to J. Mendel’s fur and ready-to-wear collections.

Studley senior managing director, Jeffrey Peck represented J. Mendel. He said, “J. Mendel’s space at 463 Seventh Avenue offers the perfect balance of location, value and stability of ownership.

“The space has worked very well for them and this allows the company to maintain its presence in the Garment District with a quality landlord.”
