Studley Promotes Bonano to Executive Managing Director
2009 was a banner year for newly promoted Houston broker

International commercial real estate services firm Studley announced the promotion of Jay Bonano (47), a 23-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry, from senior managing director to executive managing director, on the firm’s annual Winter Trip. This year’s trip was held in Berlin, Germany.
The promotion comes on the heels of a banner year for Mr. Bonano, who in 2009 was the top producer in Studley’s Houston office and the 13th company-wide.
Mr. Bonano has been with Studley since 2006, representing a diverse client base, some of which include Asurion Corporation, Pogo Producing Company, Transocean Offshore Deepwater Drilling Inc, and Osha Liang LLP.
Prior to joining Studley, he was a senior vice president with CB Richard Ellis’ Global Corporate Services Group.
He has been recognized as a Houston Business Journal “Heavy Hitter” and as a CoStar “Power Broker.” Both Studley and CB have also recognized him as a top producer for the respective firms.
Mr. Bonano is a life member of the Houston Safari Club and the Coastal Conversation Association. He is also a licensed pilot and volunteers his time piloting planes for Angel Flight, a nonprofit that provides transportation to treatment for ill patients.
Mr. Bonano earned a Bachelor of Science in communications from the University of Texas at Austin.
