International real estate services firm Studley is pleased to announce the recent promotion of Wendy Feldman Block to corporate managing director from managing director.
Since joining Studley in 1987, Ms. Feldman Block has focused on providing comprehensive real estate services to large tenants in Washington, DC and throughout the U.S. with a special focus on law firms, associations and corporations.
Recent transactions include a 240,000-square-foot build-to-suit in Charlotte, NC, on behalf of SPX Corporation; a 160,000-square-foot headquarters build-to-suit in Richmond, VA, on behalf of Williams Mullens; a 125,000-square-foot lease in Reston, VA, on behalf of LightSquared; and a 52,000-square-foot lease in Washington, DC on behalf of The District of Columbia Bar Association.
Ms. Feldman Block is active in numerous professional and service organizations and remains a fixture in community endeavors. Currently she serves as a trustee and a member of the executive committee for Tikkun Olam Women’s Foundation which “empowers women as funders, decision makers and agents for change and offers women the opportunity to use leadership and financial resources to make a difference in the lives of other women and girls.” In addition, she serves on several boards including IONA Senior Services (where she is past president), and Bell Multi-Cultural High School, and Jubilee Support Alliance.
She also contributes her time to the Round House Theatre, Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) and the Greater Washington Board of Trade. In 1999 Ms. Feldman Block was among a select few leaders in the Washington, DC area chosen to participate in the prestigious Leadership Washington program. Ms. Feldman Block earned a bachelor of arts degree in economics from Emory University.
