Savills Studley To Participate In 2014 CREW Network Convention & Marketplace
25 September 2014
Miami’s bustling commercial real estate market will be a fitting backdrop for the hundreds of attendees traveling to the 2014 Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Network Convention and Marketplace, to be held September 30 -October 3 at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel, Miami Beach, Fla.
Savills Studley, the leading global commercial real estate services firm specializing in tenant representation, is proud to be a premier lead sponsor of the four-day event, which will focus on the “Rewards of Risk” in the international property sector.
Savills Studley will be represented by Chief Economist Heidi Learner, Corporate Managing Director Wendy Feldman Block, Tampa Branch Manager Cheri O’Neil, Assistant Director Ashley Elkin, and Senior Vice President, Professional Development Ann Marie Lynch.
According to Learner, Miami is a “fitting location” to highlight the strength of the national commercial real estate market. “Office-using employment in the Miami metro division has grown a full percentage point faster than the national overall US office using employment through July”, Learner said. “In addition, traditional space users, such as banks, law firms and professional services, have become more willing to sign long-term commitments, signaling strengthened market conditions.”
Ann Marie Lynch commented on the value of the conference stating, “the panel discussions, networking opportunities and access to decision makers are important tools for women in the commercial real estate industry. Savills Studley is proud to partner with CREW Network to support women and help foster these types of opportunities.”
Session topics planned for the event include retail digital marketing tools, expansion of the Panama Canal, New Urbanism, healthcare trends, the state of the multifamily market, collaborative workspaces, among several others.
In addition to participants from the business community and notable commercial real estate industry insiders, featured speakers include Steve Forbes and former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, who will deliver the keynote address. Past forums have attracted thousands of attendees from a broad spectrum of industries.
