Davis Wright Tremaine LLP, a law firm headquartered in Seattle with offices across the U.S. and Shanghai, signed a lease for about 41,900 square feet in the Mitsui Building at 1251 Avenue of the Americas in New York City.
The 54-story, 2.36 million-square-foot, 5-Star office tower was built in 1970 on 2.4 acres in the Times Square submarket of Manhattan, between 49th and 50th Streets at Rockefeller Center. The tenant’s lease includes the entire 21st floor. Other tenants there include The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, Natixis, and Piper Rudnick.
