Savills Studley represented The Jacobson Group in its expansion of its headquarters at 30 West Monroe Street. The insurance recruitment giant will expand to occupy the full 15th floor and over half of the 13th floor of the building. The company’s total footprint will now be 20,138 square feet, making it one of the largest occupants of the building.
Executive Vice President and Co-Head of the Savills Studley Chicago office Robert Sevim represented The Jacobson Group; Kevin Donohoe and Gary Denenberg of MB Real Estate represented the landlord.
“With so many dynamic submarkets in Chicago CBD, it’s important for tenants to identify the right space in the right building as they consider growth in the business, with their most favorable concessions, and according to employee needs,” said Sevim. “30 West Monroe, a landmark building that has undergone a remarkable revitalization, provided the best solution for The Jacobson Group to expand and extend its commitment to occupy additional space in the asset.”
Rick Jacobson, Co-CEO of the Jacobson Group added, “As loyal tenants of 30 West Monroe, we are pleased we were able to secure additional space with favorable terms that allowed us to accommodate our growing business needs.”
