Studley adds new managing director
February 17, 2011

Studley Inc. hired David Kaizer as managing director of its suburban D.C. office, absorbing along with him Nana Development Corp. — and more importantly, its 1 million-square-foot national real estate portfolio — as a new client.

Kaizer had previously acted as Anchorage, Ala.-based Nana’s in-house broker, basically a one-man band handling leasing transactions for the firm nationally. That's no easy feat — the massive Nana portfolio includes more than 50 companies and 100 locations.

...In the D.C. market, Nana holds about 330,000 square feet, occupied mostly by government contractors in about 12 locations; it intends to grow its D.C. market share with Studley's help. Kaizer will work closely with Studley branch managers Steve Hubberman and Paul Schweitzer to help corporations, biotech firms, law firms and nonprofits across the U.S. with their space needs.
