Studley has signed two tenants at Sunset Media Center, 6255 Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood, Calif. FilmL.A. has leased 17,785 square feet on the 12th floor for its headquarters. The organization is relocating from 1201 W. 5th Street in downtown Los Angeles. Nielsen Media Research, a unit of Nielsen Co., has renewed and extended its approximately 45,019-square-foot lease, occupying floors 14, 19 and 20, and remains the largest tenant in the 22-story, 322,000-square-foot building.
FilmL.A. was represented in the transaction by Joshua Gorin, senior vice president, and Marcus Arredondo, assistant director, with global tenant advisory firm Studley. Gorin also represented Nielsen, along with colleague and Studley Corporate Managing Director Michael Shuken.
These are the first two significant transactions to be completed at Sunset Media Center since Kilroy Realty Corp (KRC). acquired the Class-A high-rise late last year.

Sunset Media Center, located near the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Vine Street, is home to several media and entertainment companies and is one of Hollywood’s largest office buildings. Kilroy is significantly upgrading the interior and exterior of the property, originally built in 1971 and last updated in 1986.
