With more than 20 years of hands-on IT experience in the financial services, technology and global telecommunications industries, Rick has extensive knowledge of enterprise IT systems including server, network, storage and virtualization architecture. He has leveraged this expertise to successfully design, plan and execute the fit-out and migration of more than 30 data centers and trading floors totaling more than one million square feet.

Rick has implemented solutions for clients across North America, Europe and Asia, providing him first-hand knowledge of best practices and experience that is unmatched. As a founding partner of the firm’s Critical Facilities Group, Rick leverages his in-depth knowledge of information technology to provide strategic planning and advisory services pertaining to data centers, interconnection, cloud infrastructures and other technology-intensive real estate transactions with an emphasis on cost-saving strategies and efficient power utilization.

Rick’s unique combination of skills combined with Savills conflict-free model has made him a sought-after advisor to many leading Fortune 1000 corporations. His client work at Savills has spanned industries including financial services, technology, healthcare, insurance and entertainment. Previous clients include Verisk Analytics, Securitas, Pacific Life and The Clearing House.

Prior to joining the firm, Rick worked as a network engineer, responsible for building enterprise network infrastructure, data centers and trading floors for distinguished firms such as Bank of New York, Deutsche Bank, Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs and Bank of Tokyo.

Awards, Achievements and Activities

Rick volunteers with the New York Theater Experiment, helping the nonprofit with its business operation. Rick currently holds technical certifications from Amazon Web Services, Microsoft and Cisco, among others.
