Aaron Howes joined Savills in 2009, where he represents leading organizations, many of which are Fortune 500 companies, with their commercial real estate requirements – locally, nationally, and internationally. His experience encompasses a broad range of complex corporate real estate transactions, in diverse industries including energy, financial services, law firms, telecommunications, and many other professional service-related firms. Particularly, Aaron specializes in representing tenants in their acquisition and disposition of office leases and commercial properties, including portfolio management, consultation services, and strategic planning.

Aaron’s proven track record in commercial real estate dates back to 1999, and he has since negotiated over $1 billion in transactions. Able to identify optimal cost savings opportunities, Aaron is able to unlock and maximize commercial real estate value. In addition, his recognized expertise in evaluating clients’ challenges ensures their real estate decisions align with their financial and operational objectives.

Prior to joining Savills, Aaron worked for CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) for six years, and Trione & Gordon for four.

Awards, Achievements and Activities

Aaron has been recognized for his outstanding achievements by both the industry and the firm’s with which he has worked. In 2007, Houston Business Journal named him a ‘Heavy Hitter’ and Commercial Investment Real Estate Magazine named him ‘The Big Dealmaker’. While working with CB Richard Ellis in 2006, he was recognized as Houston’s top producer of global corporate services and CBRE’s Top 200 worldwide. Aaron was also a top producer at CBRE in 2007 and 2009. Since joining Savills Studley in 2009, he has consistently been a top producer.

In his community, Aaron serves on the advisory board and development committee for the Children’s Museum of Houston. Previously, he has also served as a board director or volunteered for: The Children’s Fund, The Rise School of Houston, Kinder Foundation, River Oaks Baptist School Leadership Council, Houston Pet Set, Child Advocates, Texas Children’s Hospital, SPCA, and DePelchin Children’s Center.
