Alex focuses exclusively on tenant representation, specializing in assisting emerging and established life science and technology companies, and office occupiers. As an associate director at Savills Studley, Alex works toward eliminating the inherent conflict of interest that exists in corporate real estate while at an organization that has a broad platform of tenant-focused services.
Prior to this, Alex gained brokerage experience at Avison Young, and more recently at Cresa Carolinas. His responsibilities included developing new business, strategic planning, transaction management, and market research. Alex excelled in developing longstanding relationships within all levels of a client’s organization. This collaborative approach gave Alex valuable insight into an organization’s key objectives and goals, and helps him provide efficient, practical planning and space solutions for his clients.
Before beginning his career in real estate, he was a territory manager for CSC Leasing where he helped companies procure IT and data center equipment through tailored operating lease agreements. During his time at CSC Leasing, Alex managed accounts of Fortune 500 companies as well as small startups. In 2011 he was awarded for winning the company’s largest transaction of the year.
Alex’s knowledge of lease structures along with his 10 years of experience living in the Triangle area make him a great resource for clients.
Activities & Achievements
Alex is a Licensed Real Estate Broker in North Carolina, a member of the Triangle Area Office Building Association (TRAOBA) and is a 2.0 member of the Durham Chamber of Commerce. He is a CCIM candidate.
Alex graduated from NC State University with a Bachelor of Science degree from the Poole College of Management in Finance and graduated cum laude.
Alex also graduated from Woodberry Forest School in Virginia.
