Professional Expertise

As an Assistant Director with the Investment Services Group, Andy focuses on serving the real estate needs of institutional investors, developers, corporate users and non-profit organizations throughout the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Savills Studley’s Investment Services Group specializes in the acquisition and disposition of commercially zoned land and institutional quality improved real estate. The team also has extensive experience in arranging debt, equity and joint venture financing for a full range of commercial properties and transactions, and provides long-term, strategic real estate advisory services to meet the priorities and requirements of for-profit and not-for-profit organizations.

Prior to joining Savills Studley, Andy was an associate with Next Realty Mid-Atlantic, a retail-focused commercial real estate services firm in McLean, VA. During his time at Next Realty, Andy worked extensively with developers and owners of properties in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, where he was responsible for the creation and execution of retail leasing strategies for suburban shopping centers, urban office buildings, and new mixed-use developments. In addition to his work with Landlords, Andy also focused on big-box retail tenant representation, working with major national and international clients on their expansion into markets stretching from Virginia Beach to Baltimore. He has experience representing the interests of some of the nation’s largest real estate investment trusts and investment management firms, as well as some of the DC area’s preeminent owners and developers of commercial real estate.

Prior to that, Andy worked with Cranford & Associates, a real estate firm in Washington, DC, and Kane Realty Corporation, a developer of office, retail and multifamily properties in Raleigh, NC.

Education

Andy graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Political Science and History. He holds active real estate licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia.
