As senior vice president of professional development, Ann Marie is responsible for the firm’s human resources nationwide. Ann Marie primarily focuses on recruiting, professional development, performance management, and enhancement of the skill sets of Savills Studley’s professional and administrative staff located across the country.
Ann Marie joined Savills Studley in 2005 with more than eight years of experience in human resources. Her areas of expertise include recruiting, staffing, learning, performance management, immigration and employee relations.
Prior to joining the firm, Ann Marie worked for McKinsey & Company. As director of IT professional development, she reported directly to the CIO providing strategic leadership for the professional development needs of the 400-plus person Global IT Department. She was involved in a wide variety of human resources activities including recruiting, staffing, learning, performance management, employee relations, coaching, mentoring and compensation. Earlier, Ann Marie served in two IT Global Operations positions, overseeing firm-wide shared infrastructure and applications.
Prior to McKinsey, Ann Marie was a major accounts manager for the New York office of Virginia-based Integrated Data Systems where she was responsible for business development and sales of IT products and services. In addition, she has held IT positions with such prestigious companies as Morgan Stanley and JP Morgan.
Activities & Achievements
Ann Marie is a member of NY Commercial Real Estate Women (NYcrew) and the national organization, CREW Network. She served as the NYcrew programs committee co-chair in 2010. In 2011, Ann Marie was a member of the CREW network education committee helping to launch the inaugural Savills Studley sponsored Leadership Series.
Ann Marie earned an MBA degree from Iona College in Management Information Systems and a Bachelor of Science degree from Manhattan College.
