Brett Ittersagen is a director for Savills Occupier Services team in Tampa, Florida, providing a full range of integrated, strategic real estate services and delivering a variety of assignments on a local, national and worldwide basis. In his role, Brett focuses on consulting, facilitation and support services for real estate programs and initiatives, especially portfolio optimization initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, incentives research and compliance, occupancy and financial analysis, and real estate business intelligence for both public and private sector clients. Additionally, Brett generates market research, financial analysis and workplace strategies that combine occupancy analysis and space utilization examination.

Brett joined Savills Occupier Services with its acquisition of Vertical Integration, a Florida-based firm that provided integrated, full-service real estate solutions domestically and internationally for corporate and government entities. Now, Brett works tirelessly to ensure his clients receive all-encompassing services spread throughout their entire real estate portfolios.

Over the course of his career, Brett has managed numerous M&A transactions, including an acquisition of 57 locations across 30 countries that delivered a 41:1 ROI. Brett has led in the analysis of numerous portfolio optimization studies, including a portfolio study of a select group of Leon County, Florida’s 181 state-owned facilities and 56 private leases resulting in a long-term comprehensive plan that identified $1.5 billion in cost avoidance opportunities over a 30-year span. Brett has also worked with numerous local and state governments to secure and implement incentives for his clients.
