Bruce Schuman possesses almost three decades of experience in exclusively representing tenants at Savills Studley. His breadth of knowledge of the marketplace gives him an in-depth perspective on the real estate issues facing clients across a multitude of industries and business sectors. Bruce has specialized in three specific areas within commercial real estate: restructuring leases, creating space flexibility through expansion and contraction rights, and developing unique leverage strategies for tenants throughout the negotiation process.
By focusing on his clients’ business needs first, Bruce delivers impactful business solutions through real estate. His broad spectrum of experience with a diverse client base allows him to see beyond the real estate transaction and into his clients’ business challenges. A sampling of Bruce’s clients includes: Amedeus, Guthy-Renker, URS, Akin Gump, Zodiac Aerospace, ING and Dickstein Shapiro.
In addition to his tenant representation work, from 1991 to 2005 Bruce served as a senior executive manager responsible for co-managing Savills Studley’s three Southern California branch offices in Los Angeles and Orange County.
Very few tenant representation veterans can claim the range of experience that Bruce has in not only representing clients in hundreds of transactions, but also overseeing and advising Savills Studley professionals throughout his management tenure. In 2006, Bruce elected to dramatically reduce his management role and once again focus his business on his real passion – advising office space users.
Bruce received his Bachelor of Arts in economics from University of California at Los Angeles.
