Charles Suh joined Savills Project Management Services Group in 2006. As a director working out of the firm’s Orange County office in Newport Beach, California, Charles advises a variety of mid- to large-scale corporations with their facility and project needs, providing full service development and construction management. Throughout his career, he’s been apart of a myriad of projects for clients in industries such as professional services, financial services, industrial, retail, food service, hospitality, healthcare, energy, aerospace, TAMI and pharma-sci.

Charles’ experience in all aspects of asset management, construction and technology systems provides him with the acumen to identify clients’ needs in the negotiation of contracts, cost savings opportunities and execution of aggressive schedules. As an entrepreneur, he has developed invaluable leadership and communication skills, as well as an innovative strategic approach to developing creative solutions for complex occupancy scenarios. His client-first mentality allows Charles to look at the larger picture and to utilize his strengths in strategic planning, analyzing, researching, organizing, problem solving, mitigating risk and meeting client objectives.

Prior to working with Savills, Charles began his career in the Southern California real estate industry in 1987 as a financial analyst for Transpacific Development Company. Soon after, he pursued his passion for construction by transferring to the Development Department as a TI coordinator/construction manager. His career shifted to general contracting in 1991 when he joined Johnston & Associates, Inc. He has also held positions such as project superintendent, project manager, senior project manager, vice-president and president & equity shareholder at J&A. Just prior to joining Savills Studley, Charles was with Hathaway Dinwiddie Construction Company.

Awards, Achievements and Activities

Charles is an LEED-certified professional and a past member of the Entrepreneurs Organization (EO), having served as president and board member of the Orange County chapter. He is also a World Taekwondo Federation Black Belt and has held leadership positions with the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts of America. As an avid explorer, Charles summited Mount Kilimanjaro in 2002.
