Cliff Molloy brings more than 30 years of experience in the sale and leasing of retail real estate assets to the Savills Studley National Retail Services Group. He has counseled tenants on multi-location roll outs and advised owners how to create and maintain value of their assets.
Prior to joining the firm, Cliff led many retail teams on landmark, market-making assignments both in the tri-state area and across the country. These included securing the management and leasing of 500 Fifth Avenue, NY for which he reconfigured the retail component and repositioned the building with a 23,000-square-foot, $52 million lease with international retailer Zara; the 100,000-square-foot expansion of Georgetown Park in Washington, DC; the $180 million sale of the Barney’s New York portfolio with stores in New York, Chicago and Beverly Hills.
He was also the co-leader of an onsite management team that secured entitlement for the 1.2 million-square-foot super regional mall, Galleria at Crystal Run in Middletown, NY.
Cliff secured Plaza District flagship locations for Turnbull & Asser, Smythson of Bond Street and Shanghai Tang. He led a brokerage alliance that secured 36 new branch locations for JP Morgan Chase Bank. Cliff also co-captained a strategic planning team that leased 50 locations for AT&T in the NY Metropolitan Region over a three year period.
Activities & Achievements
He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY), as well as sits on the REBNY Stores Committee. For his success at 500 Fifth Avenue, Cliff won the prestigious 2008 Real Estate Board of New York “Most Ingenious Deal of the Year Award” for the deal that Most Significantly Benefits the Manhattan Retail Market.
Cliff earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Notre Dame.
