David has a diverse commercial real estate background, including development, leasing and finance. Since 2000, he has worked exclusively as a tenant representative assisting clients in office, healthcare and industrial real estate transactions. As a tenant representative, David has worked with some of Atlanta's most prestigious established and fast-growth companies on various lease and acquisition assignments.
Prior to joining Savills Studley, David was a principal with both Cresa and The Miller Richmond Company, a prominent Atlanta based tenant representation boutique. He also worked as a commercial real estate developer for both Cousins Properties Inc. and Holder Properties, Inc., two of Atlanta's leading real estate development firms.
David was a founding member of The Alliance of Tenant Representatives and has published numerous articles and delivered presentations to a wide variety of audiences on subjects relating to commercial real estate.
Activities & Achievements
As a licensed real estate broker in the state of Georgia, David has consistently placed in the top categories of production in The Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors “Million Dollar Club,” and he has received the organization’s “The Phoenix Award.” David is a member of Leadership Atlanta, sits on the Board of The Atlanta CEO Council, the Board of the William Breman Jewish Home Foundation and the Executive Board of Conexx-The American Israel Business Connector.
David has served on the City of Sandy Springs Planning Commission and the Georgia Commission on the Holocaust. He has been recognized by the Atlanta Business Chronicle as a “40 Under 40” and has received “The Distinguished Service Award” from the Atlanta Bar Association. David has also served as Co-Chair of Pace Academy’s Annual Fund and Co-President of the school’s Booster Club.
David graduated magna cum laude from Vanderbilt University with a major in Economics. He received an M.B.A. from The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
David and his wife Kathy live in Sandy Springs, Georgia and have two sons, Sam and Jack.
