Janet Woods is the President of Savills East, which includes the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, and Central regions. Janet works closely with leaders in the local markets to develop objectives and execute plans that align with Savills’ corporate strategy and vision and that capitalize on Savills’ growth initiatives and results-driven innovative practices. She also serves on the company’s Board of Directors.

Janet is a vital member of Savills with over 30 years of commercial real estate experience. Her exceptional communication skills and business judgment allow her to collaborate effectively with regional offices and efficiently oversee all business practices. Janet draws from a diverse professional background in the real estate industry. Before joining the firm in 2019, Janet spent over three years as a regional director and regional managing director at Stan Johnson Company. She successfully led the firm’s East Coast expansion plans by recruiting producers, launching additional branches, and supporting its overall growth initiatives. Janet was also the national group leader of the corporate finance team. Prior to Stan Johnson, Janet also held executive positions at Cushman & Wakefield, JLL, and as a principal for The Staubach Company. As a top achieving producer, Janet’s transaction experience includes work in investment sales assisting municipalities, nonprofit and education organizations with their real estate needs.

Awards, Achievements and Activities

Janet has received numerous awards for her professional achievements, including receiving the JLL Top Achiever Award every year from 2009 through 2014. She has also received the Staubach Trust & Team Award and participated in the C200 Protégé Program. Janet is also an active volunteer for a variety of charitable organizations. She serves on the board for Greenhouse Scholars and Creative Art Works.
