Professional Expertise

Jarod has structured lease transactions totaling in excess of 4.5 million square feet since joining Savills Studley 10 years ago. Jarod was responsible for initiating and leading the brokerage team with respect to The Institute of Culinary Education’s 70,000sf headquarter relocation to Brookfield Place which transaction was a REBNY Deal of the Year finalist and honored by the AFRMC as the Most Innovative Real Estate Transaction of 2013. Jarod also initiated and led or played key roles in the following representative tenant transactions: Tannenbaum Harbor’s 45,000sf renewal/restructure at 320 West 57th Street, Prop n Spoon’s 45,000 headquarter relocation to Long Island City, TJX Companies’ 50,000sf relocation to 5 Bryant Park and subsequent expansion, United Healthcare’s 65,000sf renewal/restructure at One Penn Plaza, Lippincott's 30,000 renewal and expansion at 499 Park Avenue, Molo Lamken's 17,000sf relocation to 430 Park Avenue, International Gemological Institute’s 20,000sf relocation to 551 Fifth Avenue, and GLSEN's 12,000sf relocation to 110 William Street.

Prior to joining Savills Studley, Jarod practiced corporate bankruptcy law at two law firms with national reputations. Jarod has an in-depth knowledge of general corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and litigation.
