A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Jasmine Mibus is an integral part of the Savills Occupier Services team working out of the firm’s office in Tampa, Florida. Since joining the firm in 2013, Jasmine has worked her way up to becoming the leader of the lease audit team as an expert in conducting thorough reviews and analyses of her clients’ current and potential leases. To date, she has participated in real estate audits with savings of over $11 million and leads her team in performing over 1,000 lease audits per year.

At the base level, Jasmine and her team of experts provide lease compliance analysis, design and development of comprehensive real estate lease audit procedures, desktop audits of prior year occupancy charges, in-depth real estate audits and landlord occupancy charges as needed. Beyond the fundamentals, her and her team support/service client field personnel relating to occupancy cost concerns and facilitate conflict resolutions to resolve audit findings.

Lastly, Jasmine’s team ensures their clients’ long-term success by negotiating settlements, securing financial recoveries, establishing and maintaining positive relationships with landlords and consistently maintaining the audit-tracking database. Additionally, she performs portfolio risk analysis for potential clients, as well as monthly reporting for all clients.

Prior to joining Savills, Jasmine worked as an internal auditor in the education and healthcare industries, where she was conducting financial, operational and compliance audits to ascertain the extent of compliance with established policies, procedures and regulatory requirements. She worked for BayCare Health System as a senior internal auditor for one year, Citigroup as a process control analyst for five months, AMIkids as an internal auditor for two years and Cushman & Wakefield as a lease auditor and administrator for three years.
