With more than 23 years of commercial real estate experience, Jay has represented the diverse real estate interests of high-profile corporations across a wide spectrum of industries, completing more than 7 million square feet of assignments. Prior to specializing in tenant representation, Jay served as a leasing representative for some of the nation’s largest building owners. This experience gives him a unique vantage point from which to serve his clients at Savills Studley. His knowledge in negotiating leases from both the landlord and tenant perspective has produced significant savings for commercial space users in the Houston area as well as nationally.
Prior to joining the firm, Jay was a senior vice president at CB Richard Ellis as part of the firm’s Global Corporate Services Group. He has also been an advisor on several major redevelopment projects, acquiring broad expertise in a range of related building aspects including operating systems and tenant construction.
Activities & Achievements
Jay has been consistently recognized as a commercial real estate "Heavy Hitter" by the Houston Business Journal and a "Power Broker" by the Costar Group, being recognized as one of Houston's top 20 Brokers. Jay was named a "Top Producer" at CBRE in 2004 and 2005 and was recognized nationally by Savills Studley as a top producer in both 2007 and 2008.
Jay earned his Bachelor of Science in communications from the University of Texas at Austin.
